Deion Sanders is celebrated for his dual-sport excellence as well as his charisma on the diamond/turf. Recently, the Nike Air Diamond Turf retroed in the original black/red/white Atlanta Braves/Atlanta Falcons colorway but with a few minor changes worth overlooking if you are a fan of the shoe. Here’s a look at a sample pair of an upcoming release of the Diamond Turf in Black, Teal, and White; you might not remember the shoe considering the Falcons/Braves colorway was more popular due to the team affiliations, but this color is indeed an original although the OG had a slightly greener shade. Nonetheless, the shoe comes complete with yellow mesh on the strap housing, so these are pretty close to the vest. Quickstrike Alert!!! Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 Urban Federation!!!

When we first reported on the Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 ‘Urban Federation’ all we had was a sample image. Today we have clear images of the sneakers as well as the t-shirt to match.

The final product is much different than the first image we all had seen. The upper features entire red upper and red accents with a black midsole, tongue and sock liner. Again Nike decided to top it all off with a clear outsole with a foggy hue to it.

These will release soon as a QS at select Nike retailers.

Philadelphia 76ers do-it-all everyman Andre Iguodala recently attended the Nike All-Asia Basketball Camp to give some pointers to the campgoers and run a few drills with the youngsters. Iggy dipped into his own Nike closet as he was seen sporting the Nike Air Foamposite One Dirty Copper colorway. During a short interview, Iguodala talked about his sneaker collection, touting the White/Red Air Jordan XI Low as his favorite Jordan shoe. He did express his disappointment in being unable to cop any of the Air Jordan Premio releases, simply because those limited releases don’t come in Andre’s size 16 feet! Foamposite heads will be pleased to know that if you missed out on last year’s House of Hoops release of the ‘Pearl’ Foamposite Pro, they are set to come back this Fall/Winter season.

The only thing that has changed from the previous release is the addition of a tinted clear outsole. It is rumored the blue tint will help with the yellowing issue clear soles have had since birth.

Personally I would have rather seen this colorway applied to the Foamposite One, instead we just get the same old re-release Sneakerheads are starting to get accustom to.

This year’s Black Friday release will bring us the ‘Flint’ AJ XIII Retro!

We finally have some detailed images of this Re Retro. Everything on the 2010 version looks to be the same as the last Retro release with the exception of the leather; it seems as if they have replaced the semi smooth grain leather for textured leather. The flint grey is still a shade or two darker than its OG counterpart but they did that with the last batch from ’05.

Retail on these will be at $150.

King James, who has been the talk of the 2010 Summer Free Agent class, recently signed a multimillion dollar deal with the Miami Heat, a decision that left fans in Cleveland and other cities either enraged or in shock. Just a few days ago we learned that the Air Force 1 and Dunk High AC that match the Toki that released this year would be releasing this weekend. It looks like Nike jumped the gun on itself though, as the Dunk is now available at Nike Store.

White perforated leather covers the upper completely, with the exception of the Swoosh. A Soft Grey stripe separates the upper and textured autoclave sole.

Wow Cassidy this is one of the most phenomenal songs you ever made. The beat was incredible and different from the average hip hop beat with a lot of claps and snares. The guitar strings blended with those keys samples in the background and the metaphors were crazy as usual. As soon as we heard it over here we knew it would be great. OG ALERT!!! Nike Air Python OG – White/Brown/Snakeskin - Available on eBay

The Nike Air Python was originally released in 1987 following the introduction of the Air Jordan II in 1986. Both the Air Python and Jordan II shared a similar design, but what separated the two was the use of snakeskin leather on the upper and tongue. The Air Python was not shy about using the material, as you can snakesking wrapped around the heel and was placed on the upper quarter as well as the span of the entire tongue. The premium quality of the materials combined with the jaw-dropping design of the shoe definitely turned heads during an era dominated by Nike Force and emergence of Nike Flight, but like the Air Jordan line, the Nike Air Python was meant to stand out from the pack.

The Air Python has never seen a retro and to say another is headed our way would be wishful thinking at best, but this size 9 pair on eBay has held up astoundingly well over its 23 years in existence. The condition of the shoe is a testament to the superb quality of the shoes used at that time. While we may never see a retro – the closest thing we got was the Air Jordan II (2) Premio with the crocskin – you can still add these to your vintage Nike collection by checking out this auction from b.!.z. on eBay.

The metallic gold Air Max 97 LE will be returning this August and are expected to be a limited Quickstrike release.

These stay pretty true to the OG model with only a few minor changes. You can see the upper is a synthetic metallic gold with mesh hits in between each leather panel. Black collar lining and borders are used with red Nike Swoosh branding all sitting atop a full length Air Max bag.

The Nike Air Trainer Max 91 was a very loved shoe so seeing it’s return shouldn’t be shocking to anyone. The last time we saw this shoe it dropped as a very limited rerelease that not many people got a chance to get their hands on so if anything it should be embraced with open arms and all smiles.

This grey/yellow/black colorway existed long before Livestrong strong armed the hues for his cause and it also came in a black/white color way. This is definitely the more exciting of the two and while it was reported to be coming back in August it appears to be at select retailers already including Premier.

J. Cole - Premeditated Murder!! 8.5/10!!!

There was incredible lines in this song but the begging verse was kind of cliche on some areas and seemed somewhat off to us but he came off for sure. The hook was original and nice we like the harmonizing he did. The "Im gun kill the game and invite witnesses" bar and a bunch of other lines the second verse was more deeper and better depiciton of him to us. Overall he delivered another great song. Cant wait for the album! 8.5/10

The jorand brand never stops amazing me on how they keep fucking up. Ok you had the 1s. The first ever Air Jordan to be released but what is JB doing now. Releasing like a thousand colorways so they're a dime a dozen now. Its so many colorways out that they lost the innocence if you will. Like a girl who has slept with WAY to many guys. And then they brung out the fusions. Dont even get me started on that. And THEN they did it with the sixes. I went into a store a few months ago and they're had to be at least for or five colorsways of the sixes all at one time. Thats like having an orgee or something its just to many. And now they're doing it with the nines. You had the Citrus then the charcoal then the Bins, then you had those torquiose and lemon joints then another pair that i cant recall,AND THE POWDER BLUES and now THESE...its to many all around a certain time spain...STRECTCH IT OUT JB!

The Jordan Brand Quai 54 Streetball Tournament recently wrapped up with the French team coming out with the trophy for the second year in a row. For the event, Jordan Brand came up with a nice collection of shoes that featured the Black-and-yellow theme of the event, with the limited Air JordanIX (9) being one of the special pairs. The Air Jordan IX (9) Quai 54 was rumored to be limited to 2,000 pairs and there hasn’t been any word regarding a state-side release. These have, however, popped up overseas at Nike Harajuku and are also available now with limited sizes at Kicks-crew.

A ton of Air Jordan colorways have already been confirmed for late 2010 and early 2011 like the Playoff Air Jordan XIII and the Cool Grey XI. How about the Olympic Air Jordan VII? Polish sneaker boutique, KICKS, received a stock of the Air Jordan VII in the Olympic colorway but with an updated change; on the lateral heel, you will see a golden basketball heart logo – a logo first seen on the Air Jordan IX For The Love The Game. Aside from the addition of the logo, the colorway of the Air Jordan VII Olympic looks to be true to the original. These are set for an August 7th, 2010 release but availability of this pair is unknown at the moment. Any release of the Air Jordan III (3) receives three cheers, so hip-hip-hooray for Jordan Brand re-releasing the “White Cement” colorway of the III after an eight-year absence. The last retro of this colorway came in 2003 with a friendly price-tag of $100, but inflation has hit the Retro once again, as a 50% mark-up will be attached with this release. $150 is a considerable amount considering the 2007 retros were priced at $125, but rising prices are only expected these days. Barring any changes, this looks like a true retro without any major aberrations to the colorway. The White/Cement Grey colorway of the III will be the fourth overall release of the shoe, as it retroed in 1994 as well, and you can anticipate these to hit stores in February or March 2011, but Sneaker News will keep you posted regarding a concrete release date. Photos have sufaced of a new Nike SB Dunk called ‘Civil’ that are set to release sometime next month. The ‘Civil’ Dunk SB are mostly made up of a neutral grey suede and canvas, with a black midsole and what appears to be black patient leather around the ankle collar. This is a sample and is said that the swoosh is going to be leather instead of canvas for production. No further details were given about the shoe, but you can check out more pics after the jump.

News of this colorway of the 1/2 Cent first emerged in early March and now that a release has been confirmed for later this year, check out these new detailed images of the Eggplant colorway. The upper features the velvety purple Foamposite with an icy-blue translucent sole. “Ice” soles on other releases have appeared blue in images so we can expect the sole to be more “clear”. Nike Honors Athletes of the Past & Present with Trainer 1.2

Today, Nike unveiled a slew of special, exclusive Nike Trainer 1.2 colorways at the ongoing Nike 7ON Tournament in Portland, Oregon. Many of you have expressed interest in recent Nike Trainer 1.2 colorways that have surfaced such as the “Ken Griffey Jr.” and the “NCAA Football 11″. Additionally, these new Trainer 1.2 colorways are nonetheless amazing.

The pair shown above is a player exclusive for Tennessee Titans superstar running back Chris Johnson. Oddly, its color scheme does not correlate with the Titans jersey colors; however, the simple red/white color scheme looks very nice on the Trainer 1.2. Another pair, shown below, commemorates former major league third baseman and Philadelphia Phillies member Mike Schmidt. His Trainer 1.2 dons the color scheme that the Phillies sported in the 1980s. It also features a unique number logo that honors one of his many record-breaking statistics. Thirdly, a navy blue/white-red pair honors Nolan Ryan, one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. The heel panel possesses a Nolan Ryan Express logo with the date 5.1.91 and the word ‘Seven’. This highlights the fact that Ryan pitched his seventh no-hitter on the specific date. Lastly, the already-released “Ken Griffey Jr.” pair honors the icon’s 600 or more career home runs, while a black/silver pair obviously pays tribute to dual-athlete Bo Jackson.

Weekly Garbage - Air Jordan 2010 “Quai 54″

This year’s Quai 54 Tournament saw many sneakers that were not specifically associated with the annual event (see Air Jordan 13 “Cool Grey” Bin 23 sample) and sneakers that were actually worn in the games. This Air Jordan 2010 “Quai 54″ belongs in the latter category and features a very simple color scheme.

Obviously, Quai 54 branding is seen along the midfoot area and coincides perfectly with the other minimal black hints including the window border and midsole. The white leather/perforated leather construction is also offset yellow elements such as the inner lining, the outsole and the Jordan branding on the tongue. How does this Air Jordan 2010 rank amongst previous colorways?

With yesterday marking the release of the “Chrome Ball Incident” Nike SB Dunks, it’s already time to look ahead to the next round of SB releases. This time, Capcom’s legendary “Street Fighter” is lending a popular character’s looks to a Dunk Mid.

The fighter who inspired us all to yell “Haduken!” at at least one point in our lives is paid tribute with this strapless sneaker. Ryu’s gi inspired the white canvas build, while the shoe’s foxing and Swoosh are representative of the video game legend’s belt and headband, respectively. There’s no word on a release date at this time, but don’t expect Ryu to be the only character who’s shown love with a sneaker.

It was an artist by the name of Waka Flocka Flame that said in an interview that "nobody wants to hear that dictionary rap." Young man you are older than me and you have alot of things to understand. First off have respect for what paved the way for you and understand that you produce GARBAGE. And that so called "Dictionary rap" is whats actually making money these days and had been. Think about whos making the most money? Jay-z, Kanye, Young Jeezy(crazy world was rebelious and real look it up) and various other artist. To ANYBODY reading this when was the last time you bought an album by an artist who had a dance or anything like that.Jay-z has more number ones than any other artist in the game PERIOD. Kanye releases an album and it ALWAYS goes to number one. Lupe fiasco has a gold album. Common has several succesfull and number one albums to DATE and Drake's "Thank ME Later" sold 462,989 and was reported to be the highest selling debut this year and some say it went platinum in Canada. Congratulations to him and Mr. Flame do your research before you open your mouth because Gucci Mane only sold 89k in his first week and I dont think anybody in your camp has or EVER will touch the numbers or figures that the "Dictionary rap" artist are making. SMH!

In April, we brought you a detailed look at the Air Jordan IX “Citrus,” which many sneakerheads were excited about. However, initially slated for a Saturday, July 3rd release, those specifics have now changed. The Air Jordan IX “Citrus” is now going to be releasing two days earlier, on Thursday July 1st, from participating Jordan Brand retailers nationwide. That being said, do you like the “citrus” touches more on this Air Jordan IX, or the Air Jordan IX sporting a predominantly white base instead?

Nike Air Pippen I White/Dark Grey-Total Orange Available Now

Despite dropping a day after April Fool’s Day, several sneakerheads deemed the “Sunrise to Sundown” Nike Air Pippen I no laughing matter. With a black base, that Nike Air Pippen I was filled with hints of orange, red and yellow along the upper to create the illusion of what looks to be a moving sun. Now that the sun is actually out and brighter than ever, a basketball sneaker with more white could be more fitting. That said, the white/dark grey-total orange Nike Air Pippen I pictured here is now available for purchase from Nike retailers, both in store and online, nationwide. These are going for $160 retail in adult sizes.

Asics Gel Lyte III Lavender/Pink/Orange

Following up on numerous collaborations, including recent efforts with Ronnie Fieg and Sneaker Freaker, Asics are to set release this lavender/pink/orange colorway of its popular Gel Lyte III model. Nike’s next Air Max 90 color way features a very cool color combination that sounds like summertime if you ask us. Liquid Lime makes this shoe one of a kind the sort you definitely wanna have on deck.

Set to release soon these feature a full Charcoal leather upper that is dotted with white mesh on the toe and ankle. Nike Air Max NM Nomo – Pro Blue & Varsity Red

Hideo Nomo’s signature shoe is making a return next year in two color ways. The shoe is set to drop in Varsity Red and Pro Blue and while the upper is a bit wild the outsole may look familiar.

They share an outsole with the Air Griffey Max 1 but the show stealing upper makes it hard to even pay that attention. From the cut out mesh panels to the texturized swoosh busting out of its seams these are definitely set to grab attention when they drop in Spring 2011. Via OSneaker

However, we now have a better look at this sneaker and some additional release information. Paying homage to Bruce Springstein’s “Born in the USA” album and Bruce’s home state of New Jersey, this Nike SB Dunk high is scheduled to release, quite fittingly, exclusively from NJ Skateshop on July 4th. AIR JORDAN 9 "CHARCOAL" PICS

Just two days ago we saw the Air Jordan 9 “Charcoal” 2010 retro for the first time. This famed colorway is returning for the first time since its original release in the nineties, and older sneakerheads couldn’t be more pleased.

The upper of this shoe combines black and Dark Charcoal suede. True Red accents appear on the liner, tongue and heel, just as the OG shoe did. We noticed the charcoal used here is slightly lighter than the hue used on the OG pair. These detailed photos give us a better look, which should further help you decide on whether you want these when they release.

Spotted during the Dizzee Rascal Air Max 90 launch at Nike Sportswear’s 1948 space was this enormous sculpture by UK artist Benedict Radcliffe. Commissioned by Nike, Radcliffe reworked his usual bicycle/vehicle designs into a full-scale Air Max wire piece, measuring at 3.5 meters long and perfectly reflecting the classic Air Max silhouette. Okay so we all know that the jordan brand has been re-releasing alot of freshhhh retros. The 12s, 11s,7s, and ov course 1s just to name a few. The defining moments packages gain alot of attention from real sneaker heads wanting the good ol' day kicks. But is seems like JB is overlooking some of the best kicks they ever put out. You know whichs ones im talking about. The 4s and the 5s. They overall have the best design out there and they need to be brought back in original or new colors. WANT TO SEE SOME BY THE END OF 2010.

The DJ AM Charity Auction just wrapped up, but his collaborative Nike Dunk High has yet to hit retailers. Let’s take another, closer look at this shoe inspired by Adam Goldstein’s two passions. From the picture above, we can see how plushly the ankle area is cushioned, and of course the AC/DC-style DJ AM insignia on the tongue tag.
